Bathrooms, flooring, and the best way to avoid cold feet

One of the best parts of the holidays are the times when you get the time to relax. Well, in some fantasy world that is true but for me usually the only time I get to really relax is when I shower. I am a traditionalist when it comes to most interior design, but I do think it's possible to mix a vintage look without losing the modern luxury new technology has to offer.

New looks:

Strela from Kohler
I love the look of white and clean modern. I usually don't but this for a bathroom works beautifully.

Virtu Casablanca - Beautiful sink, reminds me of a french country home.

Another great way to add to your bathroom is in the details. You can always changes your sink bowl out on most removeable sink units (which is another great reason to purchase non-built in sinks). Thie bowl is called Andromeda but you can also find great prices like the Lenora Round Embossed Copper Double Wall Vessel Sink below.

Trend Alert:

One way to add value to your home, and not to mention a luxury feature you can take advantage of, is to add heated flooring to your bathroom. When it comes to heated tile, I would always recommend calling a licensed contractor who has experience. But, if do-it-yourself is more your style - they do sell heated floor mats, tiles, and kits to make the experience completely your own.

Most of the kits are easy to use, but don't hesitate to also use YouTube and find videos on how-to install it to make sure you are doing it properly. One place that sells heated flooring is WarmlyYours.com if you are interested in reading more about it.
